Hi, bought a Razor Mamba mouse plugged it in it worked installed the Razor driver and now its dead both in wired and wireless mode it does nothing just sits there windows says unrecognized device.

Uninstalled the razor drivers and still dead mouse doesnt power on when plugged in turns on in wireless mode but the base station doesnt so still doesnt work tried everything getting really fed up now.

I literally spammed the on and off button whilst it was plugged into the PC directly did it about 7 or 8 times and it sprung to life now apart from some, sometimes dodgy software its work fine.

Sometimes sticks for about a second.

I have the mamba, but have none of the problems that you had. I have the driver 2.01 version and the firmware 1.13.

I had a mamba until the battery randomly expanded and became too big to fit inside the case and so the mamba is no longer my mouse

Im wondering if to return it the battery life is shocking doesn't even last a day, then takes a day to recharge.

I got the 2012 version 1.07 is the most up to date firmware.

Well i have an older mamba. Yeah the battery life is kinda short, but for me it lasts about +/-12h of gaming, which is not great, but you always have the cable option as well on the mamba which is awesome when battery is low. But if you are having problems (recharge should not take so long) with it maybe you should return it.

Swapped it for a RAT9 all i can say is wow the Razer is nothing on this the battery is longer its more comfortable, is actually wireless with 2 batteries none of that wireless for 4 hours wired for 8 crap. Built really well too, really like their STRIKE 7 keyboard its just a tad to expensive lol.

Never had a problem with my Mamba 2012, Battery life is really long and it works really well, Maybe you got a dud one :(
