24/04/2014 Log:
So I finally got round to buying a new case (since it was 2009 since I purchased my Hiper Osiris and it's getting a little tired), and some of have probably seen it arrived in all its glory.
Well since I got a new case, I thought I should spruce everything else within my case up as well. I ordered some sleeving and heat shrink and had a go at my first cable management job. Here is what I've got so far
Hope you enjoy.
3/05/2014 UPDATE:
So I started on the 24 pin & the 8 pin that were pre braided with the PSU. I've done a terrible job, but the machine as a whole is looking a bit better. Here are some pics. - I ruined one or two of the ones I did before so will have to re do those at a later point. I ran out of white braid so need more xD
1/05/2014 UPDATE:
More stuff came for my build. I can finish my cabling now, & tidy up the inside as some of you suggested
. LED strip too, how suave
. On another note, I ordered so much Phobya stuff they sent me a free lanyard ^_^
25/04/2014 UPDATE:
Just purchased some new bits (sadly not a new cooler yet TTL, soon™), I got some shiny lighting, more braid and some other bits and pieces to start the 24 pin and whatever else is left over. Also got a pin removal kit, £10 ebay for 4 tools. So that's all to come.
Next week I think i'll (after paying £200 car tax and rent and bills and stuff) order the h105 and maybe a couple of the shiny corsair fans that everyone seems to be huge fans of.
What do I think so far? - I think corsair should include their trademark fans for the price of this case, and I think their stealth drive cover on the front is sh*t, It gets stuck and feels rather rushed. Otherwise It's spot on! Love it.

The case was staring at me yesterday

A lot, while I was trying to write essays

A rather hefty upgrade in size, but none the less a good choice IMO
You can probably see why I wanted a new case
My motherboard went in nicely, swallowed whole by the 760t
My Frio (soon to be replaced with an h105) sitting nicely in place
Time to start on the cables
The braiding, screaming that I'm an incompetent cable braider.
Not a bad job I thought.

IT WORKS!!
He didn't want to help the lazy beggar!
So far I've spent all day working on the 2 6-pin connectors and my fingers are killing me, since I didn't have the tools for braiding I used pins and staples to get the cables out of the housing. I've got to get some heatshrink and wrap for the 24pin and the sata cables and then I think i'll be content. Now just to wait for my student loan...
