Mach 2 Issue.. need assistance.. :)

Posting this here as well.. looking for all the help i can get.. well i just finished fixing my mach 2 st i got off ebay.. here is movie links as to what the problem is.. the first one is with nothing connected to it but the power cable and me jumping the blue/white wires.. it does the same thing when connected to the computer except it will blow the fuse when the red light comes on.. i can get it to run with a second psu connected.. but without the second psu it does what the movie shows (blows a fuse when connected to mb)..

Where on the controler board are the blue and white wires connected are they connected above or below the yellow wires if it is below swop the blue/white and yellow wire around also the reason you are getting the red light is because you are starting the unit from a psu you should be able to start the unit with no psu connected just by shorting thr blue and white wires if you cant do it by the wires then use a piece of wire ......As for the blown fuses check to make sure nothing is shorting ..... Or you have been sold a dodgey st

thanks for the reply.. all the wires are in there correct place.. so i believe it looks like i need a new controller board.. mine seems to have some issues booting on its own..

Good idea buy a new controler for £80 I think then it turns your unit into a full blown mach2 you can hook a controler and usb up to it

ya i think thats what im going to do.. is Phil the only person to get a controller from?? i believe he is still on vacation.. thanks again..
