if i had one card on PCIE 1 what would PCIE3 (or third red slot from the top) run at on the asus maximus iv

heres the image from oc3d review

just want to know if SLI is possible with Asus Direct CU II (Board is shipped)

it says,

the board has this:

4 x PCIe2.0 x16 slots (single @x16, dual @x8, triple @x8, x16, x16 )

PCIE1, PCIE2 and PCIE4 are x16

putting a single card in these will run at x16

two cards (PCIE1 & PCIE2 only) will run at x16 & x8 (2.1a standards)

3-way SLI (1, 2 & 4) ... one would run at x8

this is because they share bandwidth

If i get 2 Asus GTX 570 Direct CU II (triple Slot) it will only allow me to Used PCIE Slot 1 and 3, was just wondering if that Slot would run at 8x

actually 2 cards run at 8x 8x its a bit fudged on the Me4 tbh.
