I have seen this case in person some time ago, better said the big ATX version and it isnt my case (pun not intended) neither but I saw some guy wraping acrylic panels around it so its clean on the outside and inside it looks like in a race car :D then just some sticker on the psu so it looks like an engine and bäm race car style Build
Just drooling but maybe I gave you some ideas :D

Although I'm not a fan of this style of case, I'm really looking forward to what you come up with.

ewwwww does nothing a case needs to do, protect from dust, static and vibration, and also look nice in an office or game room. I see none of that here.

Its an open air case, these cases when placed correctly keep as clean as your table.

vibration... I hate hearing this over and over again... my PC-Chair had bare wooden feet, no rubber etc. and I had a HDD in it wich should have brought vibration right? nope none it wasn't vabrating at all and it was standing on a table right beside me.

And looks are personal and I believe his plans can make it look really good especially the convert from ITX to µATX

...as clean as your table... yep the one that needs dusted every few days to stay clean.
I agree with TTL on this one and I doubt you will sway me.

Learn how the case works before you bad mouth it. Vibration isn't really an issue, same with static.

I'm personally a big fan of cases that are different.

Depends how dusty said house is.

So very wrong.....static is earthed thru the mobo tray, the whole case sits on rubber feet.

If you see nothing you like then please, dont let the door hit you on the way out.

Bye.

Also, feel free to display your pride and joy,I will like to spend time picking it to pieces in front of you.

Cmon, its something different. You dont get much of that anymore

Ta DAAAAH!

I think its a great idea. Whats wrong with this case guys? Its meant to be more of a display piece, than a fully functional case, I assume.

Actually,No.

Im no stranger to open rigs.....

Once a month it needed dusting.

I guess you don't live in Sedona Arizona, do you... :) I have the house dusted every day, and if it is missed one day, I can see the difference.

My only gripe with the case is that you can't hide the cabling, and cable management is nothing something I bother with, ever. :) If anyone can pull this off, B can. With hardware that sexy, the open concept theme works for me!

Thanks for the confidence vote!

Im kinda pleased with the mixed reaction to the case now tbh, haters gonna hate and all that but,at the end of the day.im not building it for them.

will be watching this

Thanks and you are very welcome

This weekend has consisted mainly of chemical burns and dust inhalation!
My favorite!!

I made a short video on how to strip the anodizing layer off too.

But we all know you like pictures....

This will stay as a primer until I have finished with the mobo tray work, all the in-out of the board for test fits could damage the paint....I may gun the white base coat on if I get ahead and am feeling confident.

The next job for this weekend will be a mesh piece for the PSU mount, wrapping around the sides and the logo'd panel on the inside, the contrasting colour should make it more visual with the mesh adding a texture.

See you tomorrow and you can see what I mean.

Am, looking forward to see-ing how this turns out, I'm sure you'll make it great (although it will be hard to trump CLOS3 IMPACT)
