Lucky Seven Watercooled 760T SLI 780ti's 4770k & More

Hey all! first of all i'd like to start by saying that my choice in the color scheme i have going on has alot to do with OC3D's 760T giveway they had, and i liked the acrylic flooring they had for it. i'm not the "professional modder" you see around, or even the best "PC parts picker" but i do base alot of my purchases on reviews, and alot of what TTL has pointed out, "Dom Plats" what a great name lol.

Anyways, my build so far is still a work in progress, i'm still trying to find a good way to work with my modders acrylic i ordered, considering i dont have a laser or CNC, only options i really have are hand tools, and small power tools. i live in a apartment, so im pretty limited, but i'm very open to links towards anyone who does great acrylic work, like Ricardo's at ColdZero.eu or Tiago at ArkAngelModz. i can take dimensions down, etc.

Back on topic... i recently finished switching my primochill advanced LRT tubing to E22 Extruded acrylic tubing, aswell as a few changes here and there, i just wanted to bring my build here, and see if anyone has any ideas on how i can make it better, more aesthetically pleasing, aswell as some good tips on cable management, any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you very much

I Hope you guys enjoy, and please if you have any ideas, or things you think would help make it look or function better, please by all means PLEASE, let me know what you guys think, also just for the record... its still a work in progress, didn't really clean up the cables much, or add dye yet, but will soon.

any ideas for great rear motherboard cable management would help, i love how MDPC computers have such great cable management, i have no idea how they do it. lol i guess that's why they are on MDPC :p

Thanks everybody!^_^

I hope you like constructive criticism... :)

Redo the acrylic tubing, those not so perfect bends would drive me crazy. I like the clear look of the tubing; your choice of water blocks not so much.

Gorgeous!

Thank you very much =)

Yeah I actually agree with you on the tubing, didn't have much luck with those monsoon mandrel on 12mm tubing, with dye the blocks look good, but with blocks that's personal opinion, personally I like the look of ek's plexi blocks, especially with some nice mayhems dye, but I but I could see where some people would like black Acetal, or other blocks, I just prefer ek's plexi over others. I've tried xspc blocks, aquacomputer, bitspower and a few others, never really liked the feel of them, especially xspc, it felt cheap and ghetto to me for some reason. But maybe it's because when I started I bought the xspc raystorm kit and it was just trash.

Waiting on 90 and 45 degree BP multi links so I can use straight tubing, and go for a slightly different look.

Other than tubing and blocks any other ideas? I'm looking into some ideas for wire management, that's my issue atm, the pics so far were just taken right after I removed the paper towel after leak testing so everything's all over the place lol

I think it looks great. When you add dye to the coolant, it will look miles better (imo)

Sweet thank you, I totally agree, here's what my prior build looked like with some dyed coolant in my 350d

Like you say Jeronbernal, the blocks are very much a personal taste thing. If you like them that's the important thing!

You still have a beast of a machine, 2x 780ti SC rock! Have you tried overclocking them yet? I'm currently testing +169 on the core and +175 on the memory (with no voltage or bios mods) on my two. Not that you need it, but hey, this is OC3D...

What lighting do you have in your case?

It's gorgeous dude, all I would add is some red dye to the coolant and white led lighting strips. Then sit back and admire your skill.

How about some lancing for the cables, it will help a lot with the cable management.

What's cable lancing?

It was a little tight in there wasn't it? (that's what he said :p) - I'm referring to your previous build.

Your new build looks better, although I don't particularly like the look of the clear EK water block. Each to their own I guess :)

Haha, thanks, i like this build more also

Thank you also! i tried playing with EVGA's Precision X, but i'm not so good with GPU OC'ing as i am with CPU OC'ing, i haven't really figured a sweet spot for the frequency and clock, how about you? what card are you testing those speeds?
Also for lighting, i'm using 2x Lian Li LED Strips on top and bottom controlled w/ a lamptron CW611 for my fans and lighting, i do have 5mm and 3mm LED's that i have to put on the blocks, but i couldn't find a aesthetically pleasing place to put the Bitspower LED Control board... that and its bulky lol

Thank you also Davva :D, i have a few mayhems dyes atm, when i took the picture i just finished leak testing it, but dye wise, i have aurora tharsis red, a UV Red, and a bottle and a half of pastel white, i just tossed the half bottle of white in for now, since im going to have to drain it in a day or two when i switch some things around, im about to post some pics below of how it looks so far with the White Lian Li strips, and the white dye :D

Same gpu's as you mate, 2x EVGA 780ti SC's :). I prefer Afterburner to Precision X, always have. I kept upping the core speed (in multiples of 13) until I got artefacts or a crash, then up the memory (with the core at stock) and watch again for artefacts. Back down a little and settle somewhere between the two. +169 on the core nets me 1280MHz at boost and +175 nets 7354MHz on the memory, at a max 45C under water. Seriously good cards these when watered :).

What is cable lancing

I think what is meant by Lancing is actually Lacing it's very easy to do and looks the business, there is a thread dedicated to it.

All Credit goes to Alpenwasser for showing us the Lacing way.

Build that is tastefully done. Looks great! Everything goes together.

How easy is it to work with the 760t? Thinking of switching out cases.

The 760t is great! And thank you!

I waited for a few months for the 760t to release to be honest.

The reason I chose the 760t was because of the radiator support, and that it has great cable management and the window is nice too

If you're looking for the same options as the 760t but want a more streamlined black case, the corsair Obsidian 750d is identical inside, only difference is the type of mobo standoffs, and the bottom of the 750d can take 2x120 fans in oppose to 1x120 fan.

The case is amazing to work with, prior to this case I used a 350d, air 540, cm storm trooper, 600t, 650d, and 230t, oh and a Bitfenix prodigy m matx, and a aerocool ds cube. To be honest, I love the 760t, between the 760t and 750d I chose the 760t also because of the easy to use latching hinged doors, makes things soo easy, once you have a latched side door, you will hate those thumbscrew lol

nice and tidy :)

This loop structure isn't a million miles away from what I'll be trying to achieve shortly.... Although more like version one (bitspower fittings cost a bomb so I'm not re-buying the new ones :P)

How did you find the c47 fittings for rigidity, just out of curiosity?

Cracking looking build I think with combs or lacing this would be pretty much spot on :)

Only thing I'd change is the Soundblaster for an X-Fi so you have a proper dsp instead of a software one ;)

Hardware wise this is really similar to my upcoming build except for a 750D and I want to try and put two thicker 360mm radiators in it. I also went for the multiport top (it's the only part I have right now sitting on my desk lol) and I want to sit the EK D5 underneath it in the orientation you have. It looks really tight on height and length! Is there room to get the pump closer to the res? Scratch that the whole thing looks really tight, I can tell this is gonna be tough now. Also I noticed you got rid of the drain in the front of the pump top? Did that not work out well or have you found a better place for it?

I like the white, black and red colour scheme, the balance between them all looks lush. I also think you've done a much better job with straight acrylic and the bitspower fittings but damn that's a lot of fittings! My personal crit would be that the floor panel looks a bit untidy with all of the exposed holes and the single rad makes it look really full and complicated, sometimes complexity is cool but I feel like I want to see more of that pretty motherboard. Oh the dom plat lightbars look sweet against the tubes and coolant too, almost like the coolant is running through the memory.
