Looking for new case

Hi guys

doing a new build and need a new case.

Currently i use a coolermaster cosmos but its to big.

I need the minimal size i can get away with whilst still being able to fit a triple / possibly double rad.

I also want the insiders powder coated, no silver!

Any recommendations?

Tjo7 with powder coated inside?

I can't think of any minimal sized cases that can fit a 360rad.

For a dual rad something like the Fractal Arc Midi would be good.

Yeah the Arc Midi can fit 1 240mm rad in the roof as stock, but you could remove the bottom hard drive bay (you'll have to dremel it out, only the top one screws out) and you could fit a second one in the front. Or as SieB mentioned the TJ07 is a good pick.

I still think the coolermster 690 is one of the best out there. With a little modding it could fit a triple rad in the roof, and if you dont want to it can get in a 240 in the roof and another 240 in the bottom

the TJ07 looks nice. ill have a read into it, can it easily fit everything then? I assume cooling on a single cpu loop isnt that effected in double vs triple rad

You can fit a 360 or a 480 rad strait in the bottom and a slim 240 or 360 rad in the roof if you can mod.

id only need the one rad. is it not a very big case if it fits a big rad in the bottom? also does it make sense to put the rad at the bottom of the loop?

Yeah brand new ones are silver on the inside but you can usually find second hand ones on Ebay like the one I posted above with powdercoated insides pretty cheap. Specialtech.co.uk sell them new with the option of having the powdercoated and/or pre modded for an extra charge though.

Forgot about the Coolermaster Storm Trooper as well, with some Lian Li brackets you can get a 360 in the front but you loose the HDD bays and optical bays.

not a fan of the looks of the storm trooper really.

Are there any good white cases with white powder coating? they all seem to be old special editions

Only white cases I know of that you could watercool in are the Switch 810 which is huge so you wont want that and the Silverstone Raven RV02 or Silverstone Fortress 3.

I think as well but not sure that there is a white Fractal Arc Midi, oh and there is also the BitFenix Shinobi if you can mod.

Cooler Master HAF X is nice and cheap and not too big. Then there is the 800D obviously but that thing is pretty huge...

Have you considered the NZXT Switch 810? They have Black/ black powder coating and White/ White powder coating. It can fit a 360 in the roof and another 240 on the bottom.

Switch 810 is huage!!

the TJ07 is the best case out there for watercooling, it isnt too big either only a little bigger than the 650D, it will only cost you £25 to powdercoat the internals and you would be able to fit any radiator you want in their really (upto 480MM)
