Looking for a white motherboard

Since I'm planning on creating a "as white as possible" PC, I suddenly had this idea about getting a completely white motherboard (with black connectors maybe)... (mITX!!)
Does anyone here have any ideas who I should contact for that?

I'm surprised this didn't get any replies yet. Please don't tell me I'll have to get another black mobo... that's so old-fashioned :p

I was kind of hoping Tom knew some people at ASUS perhaps that could help me with a white one ;)

I think you've got your hopes up a bit high mate.

But seriously, if you want a white motherboard then I think you'l have to pick up a painting brush and some white paint yourself.

By white motherboard what do you mean?

If you want a white PCB Ill happily show you the door and ask you never to come back

I wonder why it hasn't happened yet? I mean the enthusiast market is full of things that we have been seeing for years now. People want colors, and stuff... and I am not referring to cases or fans or etc, which are easier to mod ( there's a pleasure in that, of course ) but no one can easily pain a printed circuit board.

White PCB's just look horrid. Plain wrong. Its never been done right.

To be honest, I tried picturing one painted white... and I don't fancy them looks either. Just surprised that no company has tried releasing one yet. It must look really really horrid.

White PCBs are really ugly mate. I love white cases and got one myself but they really need contrast to make them shine.

White case + black motherboard = win
White case + white motherboard = please don't, really don't

Galaxy has done a few GTX cards with white PCB's (460 and 680, that I know of)

But no, mainboards with white PCB's don't exist.
What you could do is make your own sort of "thermal armour" like the Asus Sabertooth. Get yourself a white piece of plexi/ aluminum/ whatever just slightly longer than your mainboard. Cut out the CPU socket, heatsink, RAM, 24- and 8-pins and PCI lanes and hang it in the roof of your case over the mainboard?

Pic for reference:

Though I do think this would've looked better with some cutouts to show off components like CPU (cooler) and RAM. Also if it didn't reach all the way to the drive cages, but that might be personal preference :)

I must say, that 680 looks great on its own, but I reckon it would look horrid on a motherboard...

And I haven't found a decent looking white motherboard yet. Every single one I've seen is plain old ugly. (That's why I asked about it really, wondering if there were some good looking ones.)

I guess I'll stick to a black motherboard then.

Don't mind these guys. A white motherboard...not something I would do myself but I admire you for wanting to be different.

I'd go as far as a white shroud on a graphics card maybe or the portion that faces the side panel with the logo of the graphics card to match the color of the case while everything else inside is dark... that contrast will make them cards visible, but I'd hate to see the whole PCB painted in black ( GPU and MB ) ... it's a matter of taste in the end, and taste is un-disputable, everyone likes what they want or feel it's nice and works for them.

^Sorry about the blurriness, but this was the only picture I could find :p

And just adding this to the post, even though it adds nothing but it looks epic as ef :D

A white PCB? Don't they use copper layers or something to create different conductive/thermal properties of each layer? I would've thought that all the colours would leak through unless it's really, really properly coated...

I love the nice dark black matt surface Gigabyte are using on some of their PCB designs. You could always couple that with a white powder-coated shroud of some sorts...?

Edit: @ Feronix - That shroud on the Sabertooth looks pretty spiffy, I've gotta admit.
