Looking for a new motherboard

I've finally had enough with my motherboard (Asus P5K-e WiFi/AP) which keeps stalling at initializing USB controllers and i'm sick of Asus support so i'm in the market for a new mobo.

Specs are Q6600, 4GB PC2-6400 DDR2, 8800GTS G92.

Max budget I can stretch to is £100 but I don't really want to go that far.

EVGA 780i sli FTW would be my choice...

Anything below the 790i should be avoided like the plague, all intel mobos will rip an nivid apart. Unless you want sli and DONT want to overclock

And treat the 790i with certain trepidation...most of them hate some sort of memory, but you don't know what till you get it...

You could have a look at some low end p45s and some p43s as well.

What about P45/P43 based boards. A lot of them come in well under £100. I picked up a Gigabyte GA-EP45C-DS3R for £95, comes with support for both DDR2/DDR3, only downside no heatsinks on the VRMs.
