I am looking at swapping my Artic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro for a Xigmatek S1283 as I am after a nice silent operation and still decent temps. Now from what I have read (especially from SPCR) is that it works well with little air flow which is exactly what I want. Only thing is I am unsure whether I should buy a bolt through kit for it. Do people think it is worth it? I am using this on a 775 motherboard by the way.
Also SPCR noticed a nice decrease in noise for using a Nexus fan, again have others found a similar improvement or not? Trying to decide as a Nexus should spin plenty fast enough, but would rather not buy more than I need!
