look what i found

To be honest, I didn't particularly like Fallout 3 either.

But I was a MASSIVE fan of the first 2. I thought the third was just too much of a break from the game play of the first two, and I just could NOT get past it.

Might give 4 a look, but most likely not.

What you are both saying about graphics not being important only gameplay doesn't make sense when you're on a PC forum...if it's just about gameplay why do us PC gamers spend a fortune on hardware, new graphics cards etc. Otherwise we may as well not bother and just run a game on low graphics, or better yet, save a fortune and just use a console. ;)

But I think movies are slightly different to a game. But no I don't mind watching an old film, depending on what it is...?

to say a game is only as good as its graphics is stupid mate sorry, you could have the best graphics known to man and it mean nothing if the game play is shite

No I'm not saying that, should of made it clearer, the gameplay does need to be good as well, but personally if a game looks crap graphics wise then I won't even go near it to start, whether its rated as a 10/10 on gameplay or not.

more fool you then fella you must miss quite a few brilliant games, btw fallout 3 was voted best game of this gen consoles ^_^

mate the PC is the home of competitive games, ALL of which are played on lowest settings and usually with high FPS configs.
i play on PC because of freedom by mods, public server files and the superior input, nothing else.
if "us" pc gamers loose the priority for the gameplay over superior graphics we are just as bad as the console crowd, and that's exactly what the PC community has become. shame on us.

I guess so, but I'm sure I'm not the only one out there who is into PC's simply because of the superior graphics over a console, I don't play competitive so for me that doesn't matter.
 
Mosty games I consider good have mediocre graphics especially by today's standards, I put most awesome looking games in the same category as your typical action movie - shallow fun, which looks cool. :P

that sums it up quite nicely. the sort of movie you watch to waste a friday evening, but not the kind of movie you'd watch twice.
