i started with a 2 lian li v1000 cases, one had a modded and damaged interior when i got it, the other had a tripple rad grill and fill port drilled on the top, so i decided to put the 2 together, the inside and bottom from one and the front from the other. i will still have the other case but it will be sold off to fund the next project.

hardware consists of:

2600k @3.8

Gigabyte Z68x-UD4-B3

Noctua NH-D14 no fans

Corsair Vengence 1600 4x4GB

zalman 850watt sleaved powersupply

Dazmode Sleeving kit.

Dazmode White cable extentions

4x 120mm Fractal design 1000rpm fans.

1x64gb kingston ssd, mayby 2

1tb WD black Sata3

Asus 6970 Direct CU II

This ^^^^^

White/black and orange seem to be the colors of the month lately, also if you went with the Cougar Vortex fans as well to go with it that would be some HC PC pr0n.

its an option but i already did a white and orange case so i wanted to do a different color, i will add it to the poll tho.

You know what it is............Black and yellow, Black and yellow. BumbleBee... Yellow inside black outside.

What do you guys think about a acrylic side panel for this case. i think it would look pretty cool.

No Just NO! never will i paint yellow on anything i own

I voter green inside black outside as I am comtemplating changing my Storm Snipers WHOLE appearance

i have been thinking and if i had the money for water cooling i would be bolting my 2 lian-li v-1000's together and making an really nice cube case, but since i'm doing this on a budget of couch change and piggy bank money that wont be happening anytime soon. What do you guys think about a clear side panel, and not having the center piece of metal in there. i was also thinking of taking the HDD rack out of my r3 and putting int in here for lots of hdd space. anyone got any other ideas that i might be ably to make happen.

woho, found a guy willing to do a little trading for the paint on this case. im going to clean up his computer an install a couple upgrades and i get a custom painted inside, any color under the sun i want, also any kind of finish. also will be starting 2 new jobs over the next 2 weeks so this project will get all the love it can.

White and orange... it's soft and clean. The other colours have been done too much. I would also like to see just white.

It would look sexy.

well i have been a little busy moving my cousin and looking for a job, but had a few hours today to work on the case. i marked out some of the cuts i will be making, and the rest done need to be marked out, i have one problem that i dont know how to fix, that dam hole in the middle of the case. i will start to disasemble both cases over the weekend and get everything ready to be sandblasted and preped for powder coating, final color will be white on the outside and black on the inside. if getting it painted over powder coating is cheap then i will go that way but i wont know for a week or 2, i would also like to find somewhere to cut a custom window into the side panel i would like to do some intricate work but dont have a cnc.

a small hole will also be cut into the middle panel for the 8 pin motherboard connector.

rough idea for cpu back plate cut out, might make it bigger on the right depending on my motherboard.

a small hole to help hide the front io cables.

and lastly a nice hole to rought all the power cables through.

Those standoffs in the box aren't needed then, I take it?
