Lian Li`s new case is something very different

Lian Li are injecting some much needed flair into the boring world of the rectangular PC case, with their PC-888.

Personally I think it's just amazing, and very fresh! What do you think?

What the FUDGE!

If that was an 'ordinary' shape then it would be awesome. The anodised blue looks truly sick. But why the hell did they have to go and make it look like that. Its almost as bad as their Anniversary snail monstrosity.

I didn't know LianLi could make something that awful :'o I think one of their designers was drunk and used a 3point curve instead of a line when drawing the front of the case in the side view and thought "Hey that looks good".

On a more serious note: I think the case is just too high to be practical. You'll see the 5.25" and 3.5" ánd PSU are above the motherboard, requiring an insane amount of height.

Spot on, I just couldn`t think of what it was reminding me of.

Have to say, 10/10 for being different and looking for something different, but they are hideous imo.

Lovely inside as u would expect.

People will buy them I`m sure. Bet that work-experience guy aint gonna get a job tho.

In terms of practicality, how would you fit it below a desk, or shelves, or pretyy much anywhere else? Also, I can't think that carrying that up 4 flights of stone spiral stair case would be much fun (its not fun with anything TBH).

I swear i've seen that case before I'm absolutely positive I have! I dont like it though, if they shrunk it it could be a cool hat but its really impractical to put a PC in...

I just noticed that there is some sort of platform on the bottom, just above the case-feet => makes it look even more like a vacuumcleaner

it's nice to see new shapes of cases but I rather have good looking new shapes

its a good colour, very stylish as well and modern but the shape it a little messed up. I see they made it that shape to be different from the norm but i guess they may waste alot of space in the tower.

It's a marmite thing, you either love it or you hate it. I love it. The community needs more designed cases. It's like the antec skeleton, you either love it or hate it, for me I dont like the skeleton, but think it's good (infact great) That it is breaking the mould of the standard box that is all to often computer cases.

I'd rather see boxes like this hitting the shops which get people talking, giving others within the case manufacture realms ideas etc, that just another rectangle.
