LGA2011 - X79 MB recommendation?

Hi, I am looking at buying a LGA2011 MB, I have all my other parts ordered but still not sure on this part of the build. My budget is around £150 - £270 and I will be using this rig for gaming and video editing/rendering.

In terms of what I want from the board, it'd have to be reliability/stability > overclock/rendering > gaming.

I would take the rampage iv formula, rog mb's are always been at the top of the league, although the board is more focusing on gaming and less on overclocking in comparison to the rampage iv extreme you will get good overclocking results if you compare it with other boards of that price tag. However the price will be slightly (not more than 5-10 pounds) higher than 270

Get the Extreme. If not, you'll always regret your decision.
You'll wonder, constantly, "What if I had bought the Extreme?"
The extra money you spend for the Extreme will be the best, cheapest investment you'll make on your new build. If only for peace of mind.
I just made the same choice a month ago and went ahead and bought the Extreme. I'm certainly glad I did, because the question, "What if I had bought the Formula?", will never occur.
