Laptop drive to sata?

How can i get a latop drive like this http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/ProductInfo.asp?WebProductID=665977 to work on my pc, as i mainly use cd drives to hold game disks i shall have these in my pc then a normal one ext for installing games

Im going for Sata as its a lot neater. I hope they have it on ebay though as thats stupidly expensive. Is the connector the same as compact flash?

the one on ebay will only convert ide to sata. Not the atapi interface used on the laptop optical drive. The only way to do it is convertor thats on kustompc's.

Does it have to go to sata, can it go to ide? ifso you can get the laptop ODD to IDE alot cheaper!

ill probs have to go down that route, i would prefer sata but at the current costs its too much

Could you do ode to ide, then ide to sata. Buy using ide is probably best.
