Kraken x62

Hey there everyone I just have a few quick questions about NZXTs Kraken X62 AIO and it's CAM software.

So first off, I love the pump. Super quiet, very flashy, does what it's supposed to do, with simple installation (except for it blocking the first DIMM slot SLIGHTLY, not a big deal for me.) I have an Asus Z170A motherboard with AI Suite III installed to control all of my fans since the CAM software is kinda eh for that. Today I noticed my pump speeds were fluctuating from around 1940 to 2004 RPM. I stared at the temperature and the pump speed for a few minutes. As the temp went up one degree, the pump speed would go up. Then back down when it dropped a degree but it would do this up and down every 2 to 4 seconds. So basically my question is, is this slight constant fluctuation in pump speed okay for the pump?

I did read that going from normal idle pump speeds and skyrocketing up to 100% speed then back down again will slowly kill a pump but it wasn't proven.

Also, since I am using AI Suite and CAM, are they possibly conflicting with pump speeds? I haven't had any temperature issues, fluctuating 40-45c while playing ARK on ultra and just cause 3 on ultra. No stress tests yet. Did have ark open while I ran Heaven benchmark for GPU, saw CPU reach 50c, still nothing compared to the 75c stock cooler lol.

My X62 is just running CAM on performance with zero issues, it could be a conflict or just the fact that it naturally increases speed with temps I'd just try and run CAM on it's own with a profile that will hold everything steady

That is an excellent video thank you! I couldn't stop staring at the pump rpm on his CAM software and it was doing the exact same thing mine does, which tells me it's just changing with the temperature(which is what i had expected). But i will be setting it to a comfortable speed just to possibly prolong the life of the cooler. Noise isn't really an issue since my computer is on the floor and i almost always have headphones on while i game.
