Kingston HyperX Predator vs Corsair Vengeance

Hey all.

Im at a crossroads here, im stuck between two sets of ram (8GB 2x4)
I am looking at either:

Kingston HyperX predator - 1866Mhz for 50 Euros

OR

Corsair vengeance - 1600Mhz for 50 Euros

What do you guys think will look best on the MSI Z77A-GD65 ?

I like the Corsair also, but I was thinking the higher speeds on the kingston may give me a little more headroom whilst overclocking..

H100i should be on the cards later in the build, but a stock cooler to start with...

i'd go for the Kingston if it's the same price for higher speeds. Kingston is a reputable company so you shouldn't have any problems!

Kingston is 1.65v isn't it?
I wouldn't be using that on Ivybridge personally, so I'd say Corsair.

i agree with will how much more is the equiv corsair.. im just thinking if your putting a corsair cooler in there you might want matching names with logos matching. both sets of sticks are gonna look great on your board and kingston is from a good company, and you get more bang for your buck per say, i just found the hard way that if you compromise with something you want ultimately you will go and spend more money getting what you want in the end ... i made a cheap pc to get the job done and was disatisfied so i built my current one and im happy with it. but that cost me anextra 400 that i could of spent on say a better gpu ...
but either way both a good you just get a little more performance from the kings
and whats the final specs gonna be once youve put it all together ?? at the end

Looks like the Im gonna go for the corsair set then..

I have a 3770k on the way, motherboard I bought second hand of user ftr.4500mhz, H100i, 650D
Other components will be decided by whats available on the 2nd hand market and my budget at time of purchase.

How about Patriot Intel Extreme Masters. It's 1866 @ 1.5v which is what you are looking for. Plus great looking IMO.

didn't realise it was 1.65v. In that case maybe the corsair is the way to go!

Found it for 53 Euro Free Delivery making it cheaper than the others.

Nice Find Master&Puppet, if nobody else knows of any more then it looks like the patriots have it hands down.. There is something about the fins on the corsair look a little bit dated.. was gonna go for some dominator platinum but just cant justify the price to myself and cancelled my order.
