How long ago did you have the Corsair SSD's i know with the new ones they do rate pretty highly, I'm sure back in the day when SSD's were coming out i think a lot of people had problems most of the OCZ SSD's where pretty bad i know i have one of the worst ones ever
Used my Corsair Neutron GTX 240GB ssd for nearly 24/7 since day one back in April(around there) of 2012. Was flawless and even wrote to it quite a bit with deleting and installing games. I don't use it anymore since i got a 1TB 840 Evo but was easily my fastest drive before the evo. Corsair's software reported 100% life remaining before i boxed it back up. Guess I got lucky but even now I wouldn't go back to Corsair drives even though I loved my GTX. Intel/Crucial/Kingston are just top notch when it comes to reliability and that's what most important in ssds right? I mean they all max out Sata 3 anyways for the most part.
