hey guys

My friend wants to buy a mechanical keyboard and he doesnt know which one to buy, could someone please suggest some good mechanical keyoboards for him, his budget is around £100, I also told him he couldnt get the corsair k90 because I have that one.

But in all seriousness the K90 is amazing, for just under £100 it's probably the best keyboard out there

I like my razor Blackwidow ultimate, hasnt caused me any problems ect, love the individually lit letters on it, good tactile click. Had it about 6-7months now

For a little over your budget I would seriously recommend that you check out Filco as a serious contender ! They are nothing fancy, BUT, the build quality is second to none. You also get the choice of several Cherry mechanical switches. I have been using mine (with Cherry brown switches) for a few months now and have tried using other keyboards since and being totally honest with you the difference is unreal.

why wouldn't you let him get a K90.. what are you like 12? Think about all the thousands of other people who have one, are they not allowed to have one either

I have a Cherry G80-3000 with blue switches. It was about £60 I think. Nothing fancy, kind of old fashioned and simple look. I like it.

Corsair K90 gets my vote...

Don't bother with the Razer BlackWidow... I had it and had to get rid of it, it is extremely noisy. (My PC is in the livingroom - and my wife kept nagging me about it).
