couldn't find a price check section!

I got a maximus extreme ddr3 mobo, 4x1g ocz platinum 1333mhz ddr3, a coolit eliminator

can do a deal (down grade) for a evga 680 mobo, 4g ocz gold ddr2 6400 + £110

do this add up am i losing out? or is it an ok deal?

Answer me this. What does coolit offer that a good normal water set up wont?

The only answer is sub ambient temps. Which unless its keeping the cpu as cold as possible (eg phase) is a pile of energy sucking, condensation causing crap.

Sounds like a bad deal to me. Moving to a older tech for barely anything, you'd do better with using eBay to raise the funds and buy new.

mmm, well i had a vapo far too much for my needs ain't going for any records, coolit does allow for a cooler oc than water...and i am obsessed with my temps...also takes up hardly any room..far simplier to install..not all the hassle you get with a water setup...have not had to mod any area of my case..no leak testing no turning case upside down trying to eliminate bubbles..etc etc. sure h20 is sweet low noise...but had several of both now and my preference is the coolit systems.

well again varied opinions (thats what makes us individual i suppose) i started the thread as a serious topic..well serious too me.

Those in power should use it carefully...they might hurt someones feeling, if that dosn't bother those in power then they should not be in power:worship:

Thats why the worlds in the state its in.

The serious discussion has a thread in it saying what it's for, it doesn't take a sec to read the rules of a forum. I haven't exactly had a go at you either: just moved the thread to a more appropriate forum

Enjoy this forum and remember posting is a privilege, not a right.

tbh ;)

apologies and i consider myself well and truely put in my place:nono:...and the thread put in its place too!...because as per usual i didn't take the time to read instructions..which is probably why i learn by trial and error:D
