Merry Xmas just did a huge impulse buy - best check it all works.

My machine leaked a few month back from a failed alphacool rotary fitting I didn't realise and it blew the pump so I'm done with custom water cooling now. Santa didn't bring me anything major so I've just ordered my new build!

I think everything is fine, what I am hoping to do is put the 110 on the other side top of the case where the PSU is.. hopefully that all fits in the Node 840..

PSU: Corsair AX860i
SSD : 500GB Samsung MZ-7TE500BW 840 EVO B
Case : Fractal Design Node 804 Black Micro
CPU : Intel Core i7 5820K Unlocked -> Intel Core i7 5930K Unlocked
MOBO : EVGA X99 Micro micro-ATX Motherboard
RAM : 16GB (4x4GB) Corsair DDR4 Vengeance
CPU Cooler : Corsair H110
GPU : 4GB EVGA GTX 980 SC

Chicken. :D Christmas tip: get an external power supply for $20, and leak test ALL your blocks and fittings before they ever enter a live PC. I have a cheap pump/res combo just for this purpose. Also, when you put together the system use the external P.S. to do a 24 hour leak test with the system off (don't even plug in the systems PSU). This will save you tons of headache, and give you peace of mind too.

Don't give up on water cooling just because of one bad experience. It's too much fun! And also too much money, but nerd fun is rarely cheap. :)

Here's what the old rig looked like, its nice to say that I've been there and done that! http://imgur.com/a/YYF3T

Nah im for sure done with watercooling, I dont get the enjoyment out of playing around and getting everything to look right like it did years ago. I've ended up just neglecting it as of late. I just wanna be able to bang this new rig together in an hour and be able to sling it in the boot of my car or downstairs to the living room TV without any worries at all.

I've just swapped out the CPU for the 5930K after watching review hopefully i'll be able to get it pulled off the order before it hits my card! I sort of just banged the 5820k in expecting it to be like the my 920 was.

Holy shit I've almost dropped 2k. £1,869.32

That pump/res combo is the same one I use for testing. :) TBH, you'll miss water cooling when it comes to GPU temps, but that's about it. AIO's are so good these days that the CPU really doesn't benefit from a custom loop. But those GPU temps are something you'll miss.

Don't let this forum ruin you on a fun hobby. People on OC3D can be total dicks when it comes to neatness in W.C. loops. I say fuck them, do what you like. My loop is a complete mess, and I give not a fuck what anyone here thinks. It still provides insane heat dissipation far beyond what air cooling can do, and that's what counts. You can bang a loop together pretty quick, so long as you stop caring what other people think. :)

I just bought a new GTX 980, Zotac, to replace my 2 Sapphire 7950s. I put an EK block and back plate on it. I can't break 35C. :) Maybe if I ran Furmark for a few hours it might hit 40C. That's where water cooling shines, in the GPU. You can't ignore that sort of awesomeness. :D

For your watercooling I'd change it to a Swiftech H240-x or a Swiftech H220-x just because it's about the same price as the H110 with better upgradability and much better performance for the value and money.
