hi all, just thought i'd make my own humble little contribution to the rig thread. nothing outstanding and nothing special compared to many of the excellent builds on show in the thread, but i'm pretty happy how it all turned out, apart from exposing my complete lack of cable management skills!

Pity you didnt just do it all in series - you could have dont the hosing much tidier if you had gone CPU - GPU rather than thinking you needed to put a RAD between the two

Also your memory should be in the black slots

hi tinytom, you're probably right, but the Photon's outflow restriction was doing my head in at the time and i didn't want one big tube running to the inflow or the second rad, if you know what i mean!

what i really should have done, was go with thinner tubing, but i just loved the bitspower carbon black fittings and they were on sale with 25% off at the time, sure you know how it is! : )

about the memory in the black slots, in the manual it says red, but i've also seen some people saying that they should be in the black! last i read on ROG a mod was saying deco red slots! confusing to say the least, have you seen any difference between the two? mine seem to be running to spec.

hahahaha, my bad! keyboard failure, honest! thanks Barnsley, that is what is called not getting off to a good start! corrected and apologies : )

delidding was nerve racking just before doing the first knock with the block! but in hindsight, dead easy. only took about three good taps, it didn't come flying off like in some of the vids, but came loose and just needed some gentle twisting to work it off.
