This will be my first build log here on OC3D but this will be a build log regarding my everyday used PC for gaming and freelance design work. As I'll be moving out of the apartment I'm currently in over the weekend and next week I through it would be a good time to update the PC and water cooling setup. This will be the first time I'm going into solid tubing as I've just been using PVC tubing for the last few years.

As you can see below this was a progress shot when I put the PC together over a year n a half when i upgraded the CPU, motherboard & ram. Before putting everything into the Core X71 case it was in a custom build desk enclosure but due to space when I moved 2 years ago I was needing to move the PC to case.

List of Components:

PC (current):

i5 6600k running at 4.2ghz
EVGA GTX770 4GB
ASROCK Z170 Pro4
16GB GSkill DDR4
Corsair RM850i with Corsair Black sleeved cable set
Kingston HyperX 240GB SSD
LG Blu-ray writer optical drive
Orange LED strip x 2

Water cooling (current):

XSPC Raystorm Acetal/Copper
XSPC Photon D5 270 Res/pump combo
XSPC EX360 rad
XSPC EX240 rad
NZXT 120 fans (Orange LED)
XSPC compression fittings

What I plan on doing it to remove the optical drive to raise the res/pump combo as a solid piece of perspex is being mounted to the divider as I'm going to mount solid tubing as a pass through for the water cooling as well as 2 HDD mounts for 4 standard 3.5 HDD's for storage. In the way of tubing I'll be going with copper tubing (have easy access to it as the old man is a plumber by trade) plus the colour scheme on the motherboard is also black with a orange/copper component look, So I've decided to keep the same colour scheme for the entire build.
