Just started to do some benches.Feel like a real novice, but i have a fine hd5970 from which i expect to do some good results.

The i7-2600k is bench-stable at 5.0ghz @ 1.5v,could have been better but thats fine with me,for now

If the submitted is done wrong,i`ll correct it.

Hope the team can use my results

Maybe i can get 5.1ghz out of my 2600k @ 1.53v for benching.Temps never get past 72c under water.

Have you tested max multi on your 2600K?

Havent tried max multi test yet.But it booted at 100x53,not stable at all,Bsod after 15 sec.Think x59 in bios is max.

And thanks for the welcome (mange tak

Welcome mate!

Good going, nice first start. Test your max bootable multi on your chip. Set 1.55v and set your cooling to full and see where you get to

Have a new chip.Booted at 4.5ghz @ 1.3v.At 5.1ghz @ 1.49v right now and expect it would do 100x53.Think i just go for 1.55v @ 100x5x

welcome to the team my friend. You have nabbed us quite a few points! Try working on your chip and once you find its max bench stable frequency, re-run those benches for some more point goodness

Tried this, time to do some re-runs

Keep pluging at it. It may just be a bad batch capped at 5.20GHz. We have a good batch at work (Aria) of 2600K at the moment. Some doing 5.5 max. No good for me though, Need a 5.7+ one.
