Talked to my homeboy at Richardson tech today about my mobo/cpu/ram.... CPU is posting and benching, ram is posting and benching, mobo = not posting. Looks like the PSU decided to blow up my second brand new mobo before getting a chance to use it, gah! Now I hafta wait another week and a half for yet another rma replacement mobo.

FUCKIN FUCK!!!

I just got my RMA replacement Fortron so I'll be using it, the first one was mad overvolted I suppose, lol.

And no, nothing ever goes right for me... usually everything goes fine but recently parts keep deciding to blow up on me.
 
argggh that sux mate. i cant wait til everything gets up and running, you will be sooo happy :D. how long has it been now since you started buying things and building?? :anisx:

Let's see... I first dissambled my aircooled comp to install parts into my watercooled case about 4 weeks ago and that's the last time it worked was back when it was all aircooled and in my demon case.

Just got back from Richardson with my parts, that guy Dave that works in there is so fuckin cool, he didn't charge me again for testing my parts, that place r0x! I'm gonna buy all my future parts from him, screw n00begg in the ass. Mobo is definately dead thanks to my fun psu :mad: Getting ready to box it up right now and call newegg for yet another rma number. This time I'm overnighting it back to them so that they will have it tomorrow and then hopefully ship a replacement on monday and have it wednesday.

This computer is a money pit. By the time its all said and done I wouldnt doubt that I'd have a good $5k into, rofl.

All is working but the mobo! Sending it overnight to Newegg today and hopefully they will send replacement out on Monday.

Just got back from the store... shipped out my mobo via Next Day Air guaranteed to be there before 10:30AM tomorrow mornin'! If they get it all inspected tomorrow there's a slight possibility that they could ship out my new board on Friday, but I have a feeling it will be Monday when they ship, then Wednesday when I get it.

So with that said... WEDNESDAY SHOULD FINALLY BE THE DAY! At this point every last thing has been replaced except for the ram which has faired well throughout this entire process. If it doesnt work on wednesday, I'm taking it to my homie at Richardson who has spare parts to test everything with and having him fix it. He's the only guy in town I trust with a watercooled comp, as I just saw him working on a Koolance pro wc tower (not very good, but hell, it's water!) when I was in last week so he has some experience with it at least.
