Issue with carphonewarehouse

So about a month ago i got new iphone 6plus on contract with o2 from carphonewarehouse. i get phones from there because they are always unlocked and i travel a lot so have to swap sims quite often. I asked will my iphone be sim free, and the guy said yes u can use any sim. And today i swapped sim, and was greeted with PHONE NOT ACTIVATED message. And o2 website says they dont unlock iphone6/6+. Its more than 30 days from my purchase, so i cant give it back. I wonder if bitch hard enough will they be able to do something about this

Surely you'll be able to get a refund as the guy said it was unlocked whereas O2 explicitly state they don't unlock them.

You tried the unlocking form that O2 have?

yes just when u get there ,u are greeted with text in bold - no iphone 6/6+ unlocks

The exception to this will be O2 Refresh customers who've completely paid off their Device Plan in full - we will therefore allow iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus to be unlocked.
