ISP Upgraded My Net For Free :D

woohoo, blueyonder have upgraded my shabby 256k net connection to a 512k connection for free. still not anyhing to shout about but wonderful for downloding :)

Definate improvement though I'd still put a bullet in my head if I was on 512k, lol.

Comcast has been trendily upping our speeds like 1mbps each year for the last few years... Startes as a 2mbps down service, then it went to 3mbs, then to 4mbps... lol

lol i just have cable and on some download that have good servers i get shit coming through at over 1.5mbs

damn... not much better than mine in the upload dept... i've got 512 up.

I was hoping it was like an async connection :D hehe

No, it's around 300! Better than pings I get on UK servers.. around 500 :(

And on US servers I get about 250 lol

wow thats pretty weird.

Bur anyway. Anything over 150 is Laggy in CSS

On Australian servers of course I always get under 100.. And on my ISP's servers (playing on these doesn't come off your downloads) I get about 20 - 40
 
On US Coast serves (Filtered in Steam) i have normally pings from 20-55 That means for like an hour till i get my Ping bug and Lag Spikes are killing me (55-900-22-860-35-690 etc.)
