Is this radiator big enough

HI!

I was thinking on having a go at water cooling in my pc. I would use a EK-CoolStream RAD XT (480)radiator. Is it big enough for cooling 3x GTX 570, ASUS P6X58D-e board and a 980x CPU? The sistem would be overclocked.

if you are overclocking i would at least have another dual rad:/

Better be safe than sorry. If you can stick a 480 rad in the case you can surely add a 240 or 2x120 somewhere. Generally speaking depends on the temps you want, airflow the case has(vents your gonna use,..) I would say it enough if you set it up: push/pull. Make sure you have a decent pump which can run this loop.

Unlikely, maybe at stock but your gona have to throw some extra rads in there.

Nope I don't think so. What case are you using? You will probably have more spaces to put rads, if it can hold a 480 rad.

The 480 radiator would go on the outside of the case. I am using a MODDED DELL XPS 730 case. I was thinkin on something along this.

3x GTX 570 was a bit exadurated, lets say 2X GTX 570.

The problem here is that with putting a 240 rad in the front I have no air flow into the case.

How about a third option putting 3x 360 on the side of the case, like in this picture below? Can someone direct me to a shop that sells a radiator holder/housing.

Are you sure, becasue there comes a poitn where adding extra RAD's doesnt make a difference. at the same time anyway, you would be better off going with seperate Radiators and having them between the components if you get my drift, it would be hard work but you would get good cooling.

e.g. RES>PUMP>RAD>CPU>RAD>GPU>RAD>GPU>PUMP

this would have beetr perfromance compared to three RAD's combined. they can only cool the water to the temprature of the air so the rad's if all in one go will become ineffective.
