lol wtf you cannot physically change vga memory lol

lol ok forget i said overclock but wat if i change its settings will it work ?? cuz it has a tab that says 16megs or 32megs

no it didnt make your day u fools. you have made this guy sound stupid when really i haven seen 2 mor sstupid fools for a while.

he is talking about AGP aperature size. unkown, this means giving your computer some of your RAM to use a video memory. yes i would recommend changing this to 32mb.

jeeze, guys, think pelase

yep, im a member of the stupid squaddies :D , in answe to your question, dave is indeed right, you most likely either use a computer with an inbuilt GPU ( graphics processing unit), which uses system ram..either that, or a card which uses a turbo cache feature..long and short of it is, put it up to 32 meg, and media and games will have more room to stretch their legs, so to speak. however, most games can store textures in system memory anyway, so dont expect the change to affect games too much :) hope thats some help to ya :o

to simplyfy that for n00bs, if it gives you the option...do so...as more memory = better performance, it may not be noticeable, but it would be there:)

If its AGP aperture size, you definately want at least 32 megs....thats still really low. I know on the higher cards (128 meg and higher, probably even 64,) you want to set it right around what your graphics card is.
