Is the gtx 580 still worth it?

Hi guys, I have found an EVGA gtx 580 3gb for 250 pounds. Can someone tell me if i should get this? I mainly play Battlefield 3. Thanks in advance.

Thats a bargain! The 3GB 580 is on par with the 7970 in BF3, so definately worth it.

It will as long as your motherboard supports Nvidia cards, some of the older ones don't but all modern ones do, I think they do anyway, i'm not to clued up on AMD stuff.

Judging on how old your processor is you may receive some bottlenecking.
