How much FSAA were you running? you haven't mentioned that (unless I completely missed it).

OK then that sums it up. It's not using all four GPUs, only two (hence the 100 odd max)

I had a play a minute ago and it's nowhere near as fast as my CF 5770 in actual play, so yeah, another one on the bad list then

Dirt2 runs very well even when I disable catalyst AI (need to for eyefinity), with 5970*1200 I still get unbelievably high fps. BTW, Battlefield BC2 does scale amazingly well. It also looks the absolute sex.

Yeah deffo there on BC2 dude, stunning game. It is definitely using all four GPUs. There is absolutely no way I could score those kinds of FPS otherwise on a crusty old machine like that.

I need my Noctua so I can overclock the CPU

BC2 just crapped out on me again. I seem to get a lot of C2Ds, and occasionally uncle dxgmms1.sys BSOD turns up. As far as I can tell the latest DX runtimes don't like something but IDK what.

Roll it back to Cat 10.6. The game would not even run at all for me on 10.8.
