Is it normal? please help

Hi guys ive just bought a new laptop today, it's a fujitsu siemans esprimo with a Celeron lga775 CPU and im running the core temp programme but its saying that the core #0 temp is 52* at 0% load!

Is this normal in a laptop as im a bit concerned.

Thats normal mate, I have @ 40-55c anyways IDLE, the temps on laptops are always higher don't worry . Your far from the worrying area, if you said 60-70 then you got a problem but 52 is fine .

Thats good to hear thanks. I was a bit worried as my computer running a celeron dual core cpu @2.90 GHz dosent even come close to that temp on air. Thanks for quick reply anyway much apreciated.

Yeah laptops are annoyingly hot some times. Try a program called notebook hardware control you can control the voltages and steppings of the cpu if the chip supports it. If that don't work you can always open the sucker up and put in some as5 instead of the crap that is mostly likely on the cpu heatsink right now.

Yep, Laptops are really too hot - I dont know why this hasn't been seen to already.

I don't know if them notebook coolers are any good?
