Do you think it will be possible for the overclockers guys to set up and irc channel/server for all the regulars and newbies to come and chat if their feeling bored or need some free advice?

There used to be a chat box but alot of people just sat around in the chat box not acctualy reading the forums, so less page hits ect.

I'm pretty sure we used to have #oc3d or #overclock3d on quakenet for the old css clan

Thats what the forums are for fella.

Yes but in the forums u dont always get a quick reply, people might overlook ur post or smthng else, so a chat is good if a person is in a fix nd wants advice really fast.

What OC3D really needs is OC3D Chat Roulette! Why sit in a chat box naked when you can do it live and with Sandy Bridge!?

ummmm...... Dont really get what you mean?

LMAO i think that´s for the better

Yeah been it once, it's like 80% cock, 15% nerds using gifs of sexy ladies and 5% actual normal people.

This is good though

I like the idea of a IRC channel for OC3D, But only for general talk and messing around.

Keep the computer questions on the forum and trivia on the IRC

Never worked with the chat, we had people posting full on forum style posts in chat. So we binned it off as I got fed up with banning people who abused it.

Can say right here it wont be coming back.

(maybe bit too geeky humour but lol)

IRC seems a bit too oldskool for most peeps

I have a bouncer on quakenet so if anyone wants to make a room and get a Q bot in I can idle in it.

Or maybe a different network if you prefer?

IRC works well for stuff like linux and collaboration on certain projects

Just seems like most people prefer to use msn, yahoo or facebook chat instead of rooms on irc
