Basically I can't get this off. I've tried the EIST setting in the BIOS at both enabled and disabled and have the power options in windows at always on. Is there something special you have to do to be able to run at full speed?

I'm using an e6600 and an abit quadgt

C1E disabled and Thermal Throttling Disabled

Also Vista seems to turn it on at the hardware level, if you have Vista (tho it's ok for me)

Made sure your using the latest bios? theres a beta for the QuadGT out that fixes a lot of the bugs in that board ive read.

Cool, didn't know what C1E done so I wasn't going to touch it yet and I didn't think I was mean to touch the throttling. Cheers Kemp.

@Ham, yeah the latest BIOS (11) was only released a week or so ago. It was the first thing I done.
