also done a bit more but now out of wood till i get time to get some more (hope to get some to have it finished over or before xmas)
from the viod area on the left side of the dvd drive and the theres a 19mm void area under the motherboard where the wire will come up thorw (so they will come up under the board)
this is the void area under the motherboard

2/2 twill weave carbon fibre
i bought it do the inside area of the pc cupboard along side some white paint but have now found something else which could look nice instead
Bronze carbon fibre (instead of using blue for the lighting and coolant colour just use white lights and clear coolant with a light brown cable braiding
anyone got any veiws on which direction to go?

Not sure which direction to go but the carbon fibre looks good.
im still unsure on which to go with but im sure it will get worked out
also now got most of the wood work done. only thing left is one door, two draws and to scribe the top in. then its on to prep work for paint

im happy with the way it turned out as it gives me a good amount of desk space and can still seat two people if needed.
well ive not finished the other door and two draws yet but thought id be better of starting on the prep work as i can do the draws and door at any stage. due to xmas and fitting a new bathroom and kitchen progress is slowing up a little.
started prep work on the upper pc cupboard today and so far looks like this. hoping to have this in primer by the end of the week if we get some ok weather

Are you going to paint the desk or something else?
yes im going to be painting the outside of the desk white and black and the inside of the pc cupboard im unsure if im going to be covering some bits in one of the above carbon fibre styles or if im just going to cover the whole inside of it. any thought on which route i should take

well managed to do a bit more today. got the top part of the pc cupboard to the stage where there was so much dust and filler it was hard to see what what was going on. managed to also get a bit of primer on there before it started to rain so most of it should be sealed up now ready for a bit more sanding of the filler and then some reface to finish it off

what colour is it going ontop of the primer? ....
shame you dont have another spare rig to put on a lower shelf
going for a white front and black surface on top (have been thinking about doing the top in carbon fibre tho)
well im going to be having my home server in the far left cupboard but other than that i have nothing else lol
also managed to get back outside today and the rain cleared off so i could get the paint the gun out and do a little more but only had an hour before it started again
