now just need to work out what to do with the hard drives

Coming along really nicely. You could add grommets to the holes to improve the "sleekness" so to speak

.

thanks. yer thats not a bad idea altho i had thought about when covering it with carbon fibre to have single holes for every wire maybe so that they would not have to be so big. i think that would look better than just one big hole altho could be a pain when/if you need to change a cable.

any ideas where you can buy the grommets from?

Looks nice, going to sort the hard drives out soon?

thanks

im starting to like the front alot more now its all cut out and im sure it will look better once i get my router back from Makita so i can round the edges off from the windows.

strange you should ask i was just thinking of ideas as to what to do with them (thats one thing i over looked in the build) so if you have ideas feel free to share. also not sure where to put my ssd as i would like that on show as it looks nice

Now that I'm beginning to see this take shape, i think it will turn out great. At first I had my doubts, not anymore.

thanks

Woah very creative indeed. Looks tidy and organised. Like the cutouts at the front

thanks for the kind words

tidy and organised was the aim altho i have to say im not the most organised person there but maybe this will help me keep things clean and tidy when finished

was it you that posted the kitchen comment lmao. i have to say my design skill are not the best and the drawing did not really bring out what i had in mind although the changes to the pc cupboard (the look of the front) and the fact that i lost the shelves that was going to hold dvds (look alot like a wine rack lol) may have something to do with it.

This is shaping up nicely

. What is the empty slot on the right hand side for? Res?

thanks man. i was going to use it for a 2nd optical drive bay but the hard drives seem to have taken this for now. im looking to move the hard drives again as i would like the bay back for a 2nd optical drive again (thinking maybe move the hard drives to the void area between the inner and outter skin on the side pannels so you can still get to them but they are out of sight). the res, pump and rad will all live in the lower part of cupboard with the psu.

Interresting build

does it all come apart in sections so you can move it? Or all one big section?

thanks

yes the desk is in four parts so it can be moved pretty easy
