innovotek nv40 questions about barbs

hey are the original fittings on these 10mm compression fittings?

what is the internal threading size and what barbs could these take or can you just clip the 1/2 inch tubing straight over it and clamp it down...

i see you guys using these blocks all the time and i know you all dont use 10mm i used to but upgraded to half inch and need to cool my gfx card when i get it

if not what barbs did you guys use on em

As long as the threading is the same, the blocks will take any barbs I used standard 1/2" barbs instead of the 10mm, and as long as ya dont screw them in too far (can block the water flow) and use some PTFE tape, all should be fine.

You *could* use 1/2" tubing over the stock barbs, but I wouldnt wanna take the risk of the clamps slipping. Or you could use a tubing reducer.

aye it does help k, i had some brass barbs that nick25 sorted me out a while back but the fittings are too large to go in the block (threading is slightly larger and is very deep) as for ptfe tape thats my best friend now

G1/4" or 1/4" BSPP thread should fit any innovotek blocks
