That is normal thing for people in the UK to say when these people called "I'm using a Mac" or "I'm Using Linux"

As far as i know we don't get them here calling at all, I don't know why but i feel kinda left out :p

I had a call from a guy in India wanting to sell me cheap mobile phone tariffs and then another cheap double glazing.

I told the first I get a free phone every year through my work and they pay for all my bills.

The 2nd guy I told I live in a bunker so windows aren't needed.

They both hung up on me ^_^

Since I work in a mobile company here. I got called by them showing an unknown number.

While I was on the phone answering their basic "newb" questions like "press the button that says Ctrl" I ran a trace on my own number and once I found the active call replied "so you are calling from +916784xxxxxx thats interesting" with that, the fake background noise abrubtly stopped, short panick conversation in Indian followed and the phone went dead.

So.. i did what any consumer would do when worried about their "imaginary virus in their PC" I called them back.. haha. The shaky voice that answered made my day. Along with the apology.

there was a time where I had a few within a couple of weeks, my usual response was 'I use a mac'.
