In need of a little bit of help

hey everyone

I purchased 3/8 ID and 1/2 OD enzotech nickel plated compression fittings for my build, however I also purchased 3/8 and 1/2 primochill tubing and for some reason they dont fit!

unless im putting them on the wrong way or somthing?

Normally it would be 1/2 inch id tubing for 1/2 od fittings

if you're using compression fittings it will have to be the right tubing

but ive got both the same sizes? i try to fit it the tubing looks to big the the fitting thing to go over

for the 1/2 od compression fitting you should have 1/2 id 3/4 od tubing

If your tubing don't fit, there's something wrong somewhere

that won't work with compression fittings

it has to be the right tubing or it wont seal properly

Your supplier might exchange it unused.

link to the site you bought the fittings from, it should tell you which size tubing is required

If the tube is 3/8"ID and 1/2" OD... And the compression fittings are 3/8" ID and 1/2" OD it should work, can you not get the compression ring over the tube?

can you measure the outside diameter of the tube. maybe they sent you the wrong stuff. Measure the compression ring as well. not the barb, but the removable ring.
