I have an evga x58 motherboard with an i7 920 cpu. I've used arctic silver 5 as directed from the website, and i'm using stock cooling. I haven't overclocked the system.
In windows, realtemp is reporting 98-99C on all cores, and in the bios, the cpu temp is reporting 85C. In the bios the "system" temp is only 32C.
Any ideas on how to fix this or what could be causing the problem? I'm scared I'm going to burn something out.
