General Update,
Ok guys thanks for all your help, but this is were i am right now.
CPU - 3.211.7.5mhz 133.8.4x24
RAM - 803.3.1mhz [2:12] 9-9-9-24-128-1t
Voltage;
CPU - 1.052v
CPU PLL - 1.799v
QPI/DRAM Core 1.197v
IOH - 1.158v
IOH PCIE - 1.508v
ICH - 1.111v
DRAM Bus - 1.515v
Temperature;
CPU - 38c idle + 53c max load
MB - 28c
ICH - 50c
IOH - 64c
As you can see i have reduced the cpu right back down to stock speeds with ht + speedstep etc. all turned on [back to standard really].
Why you ask, well a few reasons;
1 - No performance change, to be honest the fps benefit against stock speed was nil [due to the HD6970's no doubt], i only use this computer for gaming, and with vsync enable all my games are played at full rez. and maxed out graphics with a constant 59-60 fps, except cysis which never drops below 50 fps.
Im sure i would see massive increases in benchmark scores from using a overclocked cpu through the likes of 3dmark etc. but im just not intrested in that stuff anymore!
2 - Lower temperatures, as i was getting no benefit from the overclocked cpu, what was the point of running the cpu constaintly at higher tempartures, none!
Guys the list goes on........
Ill poberly try lowering the cpu voltage, and all the other voltages in fact to see if i can get those temps down even further.
Thanks again...
