Rookie OCer having issues

I have watched some video's and done some reading on overclocking and decided to give it a crack, I have 8700k(not delided) on an Asus Strix z370-h gaming motherboard with Corsair vengeance 3000mhz ram and an NZXT Kraken 360mm cooler. Full spec below.

I am able to get a stable OC at 4.7ghz 1.3 volts and good temps at max 74c but as soon as I try going over that I start getting issues at 4.8ghz while running prime worker 10 has a fatal error every time and I am not sure what is causing it?

Bios settings that I have changed:

Ai overclock tuner = XMP
Asus multicore enhancement = disabled
CPU core ratio = Sync all cores
core ratio limit = 49 on all cores
cpu load line calib = level 6
intel speedstep = disabled
Long duration package power limit = 4096
Short duration package power limit = 4096
Cpu core/cache voltage = manual mode
-CPU core voltage override 1.340

I have images of the whole bios and the error messages that I am getting but can't upload them for some reason.

Didn't see it mentioned, but you should be increasing volts if you cannot maintain a stable clock at 4.8ghz. If the 1.340 is your voltage at 4.8ghz, then my advice is to not try for 4.8. Thats a lot of extra volts for not much gain. Ideally you shouldn't go over 1.30 volts for Intel CPUs.

I wouldn't say so. 4.7 at 1.3v is probably normal. Not many people run 5ghz 24/7 on a 8700k. They get way to hot and require a lot of volts. With a delid it's possible but still a lot of volts.

I'm ok with 4.7 tbh as it did make a noticeable difference for the time that I tested it.

It's just that a friend of mine managed to get 5ghz at 1.3 with a Noctua air cooler so was hoping to get better.
