I want a purple case

Being the reasonably girly geek that I am (to those who don't know me- I am female ) I have decided I want a purple computer case, as mine is falling apart.

Can anyone find one? Preferably under £50, as I'm not using it for any serious overclocking, but if all that can be found is more than that I'll have a look. If not, does anyone know where I can get a cheap case sprayed? To go with that, does anyone know where to get a cheap case that is suitable for spraying?

I've found a purple keyboard and mouse, so it would go nicely in my new flat

buy a cheap ass case that is grey and get some car spray paint from halfords n get busy lol

That could work, if I found someone to do the spraying for me. I'm not very good at things like painting, which is why I'm going to get some friends in to paint my flat (when I get permission, and paint, and stuff).

Chieftech used to do Dragons in purple - I very nearly bought one.

Don't know if you can still buy them new but you might get 1 s/h.

Not quite, but thanks for the site link- you've given me another idea.

I could get a clear case and purple UV lights to go inside I think that would be even nicer than a purple case

As said above, Chieftec did purple cases a while ago. I can only find a sidepanel for one atm tho, but it gives you an idea on the colour.

Yup. I could only find the side panel as well.

I think I'll go for the clear case with purple lights idea. I know I can get purple IDE cables and things, so it should look good.

get the UV lights ...ordinary ones come with a purple glow

Purple Cold Cathodes should be easy to find too, in the US xoxide has them. Be sure to give us some pics when you end up doing all this, I think it would look great with a bunch of purple LED's, and a pair of cathodes

CCLonline has the Coolermaster Cavalier 3 case with a touch of purple along the front [the case is mainly black though].

I have the cavalier 3 although in Silver; a nice solid case

you could Anodise a Case purple there is a few places doing it now try chilledpc there adonising is top quality

Sounds like u want Prince-Purple.

In all honesty, spray-can`ing something is really simple. Just mask off what u don`t want to cover, prep the surface (if necessary), and apply the paint lightly in a number of coats.

I did find a clear case last night, have lost it again now I'm definitely going to get that, with lots of purple lights for inside, purple cables and things.
