I need a head set...

What headphones do you like? I probably will only use them a little (just for Lans) so I dont need a $200 set.

But I was wondering if the surround sound ones are better for games.

I use a Sennheiser PC150 headset for all my games, they are not 5.1 but seem pretty acurate in css etc.

I saw those and they got Great reviews but $124 is a little steep for me.

I have my own house so I dont use Headphones here. But for the lan you have to have them.

The ones Kempez said were $44 at Xoxide thats closer to what I can spend. I figured $25-40US.

Hypers Steins look good too.

Bought mine on a friends recommendation.....have never looked back...the bass is awesome!! And the set can be worn comfortably for hours on end...for the money they are a steal!

I have those too and I like em, though I'm not really an audiophile type person so my opinion isn't really worth much. One thing I have to comment on them though is that it took my ears maybe a half a month to a month to get used to them (comfort-wise)

Very true But ya, when I first got them my ears began to hurt after about 1/2 hour of gaming. Once your ears get used to them they're fine though

Nah, they are actually very nice headphones. The worst thing is sometimes you can hit the mic mute switch and not notice before someone goes "hello? hello!!!?"
