I have a question

Hi! I just started folding yesterday on my laptop and my main PC. It's all going fine on my PC and getting 25-30k PPD. But thats not the problem, the problem is, is that my laptop CPU gets too hot. The GPU is around 75C after an hour and the CPU is all the way up to 105C. So I thought i'dd set the cpu usage to 50% in F@H client. That didnt really work, so I tried if it stops at 0% but no, even then it just maxes out the CPU usage.

Is this feature bugged? Or am I doing something wrong. Laptop specs: i5 540M, 4GB RAM and an Nvidia NVS 5100M. Basically its an HP Elitebook 8540p.

Of course I could only fold on my GPU which Im doing right now but more power is always better :D

Hi mate welcome to the Team
IMHO folding on a laptop,
only when the cooling is good enough and with laptops that's always harder then with a desktop PC !

Its a Ati GPU in the laptop right ?

No its an NVIDIA, such a Quadro card for CAD software and stuff.

Yea might be better just not folding on this laptop, I need it for school too so Im not able to fold on it a lot anyhow.
