wow... sammjj brings up some of the posts on the forums i go on, and a quick search of pengymad gets my yahoo stuff :D

Sheez please cut the offtopic crap ><

To cut some costs you could also go without a custom CPU cooler but that will generate noise and cool less limiting your overclock. You couls also go for 1333MHz ddr instead of 1600 but I wonder if that saves you anything at all tbh.

The grammar indeed isn't exactly good :p

For $2000 I very much doubt you will be able to get such specs. In fact, it's going to be tight for an allin i7 no matter what way you put it.

After having browsed newegg for a while (assumed you are american):

EDIT: CRAP forgot the DDR xD Editing in a mom

EDIT2: edited.

Fan controller seems a bit much. :/

First please remember it's in US$. On this case it is (imho) really required to make it more silent and the kaze master has good reviews.

i know, i just wanted to show what it was like :p

Yes the expensive drives are slightly better. No they are not worth it. This is about $600 for a 64GB drive if you want real performance while you could get 1TB lower performance for $100. The best option for performance storage is a pair of velociraptors, the largest variant.

but would it support my os better? and would my computer boot up faster... i can always get a lower performing harddrive later right, im just wonding if it would run my os and its utilitys faster...

It's probably best to leave solid state drives and just go for normal hard drives

Here is my take on the $2000 pc (I know everyone in this forum LOVES ATI but i'm a nVidia man :P)

That's a nice spec PC sleekit.

For the record I have deleted the rubbish posts at the beginning of this thread and I hope to not see that kind of behaviour on here again. OC3D is a friendly community and we will not tolerate the belittling of members. Consider this as a warning
