I am upgrading need help to choose my mainboard!

Hi i am upgrading from a 965BE to a 3770k and i need a z77 mainboard as well. I like gigabyte and asus the most, so here are my choices. My main concern is that i only have a limited amount of money . so which of these mainboards would be best to overclock as well as compatibility (i have read that some mobos need a bios update to work with the 3770k).

Asus P8Z77-V LX

or

Gigabyte GA-Z77-D3H

or when i wait 2 weeks i can afford these boards

Asus P8Z77-V LE

or

Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD3H

I started a similar topic the other day called 'p8p67 LE limitations'. Basically complaining that the ASUS LE board was no good for overclocking. Yes it has the AI suite but it doesnt have maunal vcore control in the bios.

Dont know if the z77 continues this but its worth bearing in mind.

The gene is a beast actually, it fight alongside the best atx z77 boards quite happily. I tend to feel that ROG get carried away with the bigger board and put lots of random rubbish on them. mATX gives them focus

Just go with the one that has the features you want/need, there isn't much difference between motherboards. The main difference is the features they offer, basically just get the one you like the look of best and has the best amount of features that you would use.
