Hot

Doesnt matter how much cold air you try and push through a radiator it needs to get removed the other side so there is 'air flow' other wise it wont work properly.

You idea is sound but in real life actualy makes about 2/3c difference

Ah ok i see. Move the fan to the other side of the rad so that it is pulling air, not pushing it.

Cars are set up in a pull mannor so that the fan doesnt not impede the flow of air when a car moves. If its stationary it will be at a low RPM, thus causing less heat. Whilst moving, more heat is generated. Air moved by speed will be better than being moved by a fan when moving.

yup,you got that right.

another elaboration is that the ambient temp. inside your case is always more than that of the room.so,your fan is sucking air from room into the case which gets hotter by a few degrees which is then hit to the radiator so,the air hitting radiator is a lil bit hot than the air outside the case.so,if you try mounting the fan the otherside of the radiator intaking air into the case which is lil bit cold that can make difference.

all i can say is try try & fail but don't fail to try...

ahh i see, I suppose that it wouldnt matter about hot air flowing upwards. It ought to get expelled buy the other fan on the chassis?
