the other day i turned on my comp and sometihng (most probably a fan) started making a noise as if it was in contact with a wire or something. Anyway after about 10 seconds this noise died down and i thought the the wire had just been moved away and that was it.
however now every time i start my pc up (5 times and counting) this same noise happens and i have checked and there is no fan wire in the way of any fan, neither is this even likely now that it seems to happen every time on startup.
when booting up today i checked all my fans and the only one it seems to be able to be in the GFX card fan. most annoyingly, the only one that cant be as easily replaced. anyway im still not sure of this but it seems most likely.
so what could be happenning to my fan for the first 10seconds of startup, while it is reaching full rpm i am guessing.
i will do some more investigating next time i startup pc.
