so guys, in the AM i am making an order for some HDD's for my NAS im currently working on. So far i have an intel E7500 on an MSI G31TM-p21 MB with 4GB DDR2 RAM. im going to be running FreeNAS as the OS. but im wondering if i should go with 2TB drives? or 3TB drives? i plan to run a RAID 5 on the system, and MAYBE a RAID card later the summer. The drives i will be using are WD Red drives. just worried that the system wont read 3TB drives? anyone have some advice on the situation?

Im making up a home nas/server myself using an intel g2020 on a B75 mobo. I will be using 3TB drives as they make the best cost per TB ratio.

Im sure if you have the latest bios then the 3TB drives shouldnt be an issues but you can also swap them if they dont work out
